Hi. How are you? Me? I'm fine. I've decided to start blogging for 2011. I'm a little embarrased to say that I've already attempted blogging before but unfortunatly I failed... However, with a new year comes a clean slate, a fresh start, a new opportunity to begin blogging! So let me just start by introducing myself:
My name is Thom van Rijckevorsel and I'm a seventeen year old guy who lives in the Netherlands. I'm in my final year of highschool which is exciting and really there's not that much to tell... My interests can be found in the 'About me' section. (And the lazy award goes to...)
I'm pretty excited to start writing about all sorts of stuff. I was actually inspired by a blogger/youtuber/writer named Hayley who has an awesome youtube channel and an extremely funny and entertaining blog. I decided to give it (another) go myself.
I'm actually supposed to do my homework now but why do homework when there's other stuff to do like tumblr, facebook or twitter! (Okay, I'm not that big of a twitter fan anymore I'll admit)
A thing I could start with is my list of new years resolutions. The thing is, I always make the same ones but this year I'm planning on sticking to them! (Yeah right...) But seriously, I'm going to do my very best! Okay, here we go:
- Start using my excercise journal again.
I was doing a great job untill last november when I got all wrapped up in NaNoWriMo...
- Earn a shit load of money :)
- Find love (I know, cheesy)
- Pass my finals
- Keep in touch after finals
- Maintain my close group of friends
- Get accepted in a new school
- Be awesome!
I can aleady feel that 2011 is gonna be a great year! Me and a small group of friends are going on a trip after finals, to Rome! Of course, I'll keep you guys posted on that :-)
So I don't want to ruin my first post with jabber about school, so I'll just keep it short. I'd also like to give a shout out to my dear friend Lisa whom I love very much! She'll be the first reader.
