So where were we?

It has been six months since I last posted on my dear, sweet bloggy blog. I know. I have a lot to tell you though! So let's just make a short list of what has been going on. First of all, I passed my final exams, with good grades so woohoo to that! I didn't get excepted at the art school I wanted to attend in, so I signed up at the university of Amsterdam for next schoolyear, which is basically next week. I went to Barcelona for my senior trip, I went to Nice, France to visit a good friend, I went to Belgium where the weather was blah. So yeah, it doesn't sound like a whole lot but time has been flying by and tomorrow I have an introduction day in Amsterdam and on Saturday one of my aunts is getting (re)married, so I do have some stuff to look forward to. I also turned eightteen years old. I guess that pretty much covers it.

So now for my life from a contemporary angle:
These past few days I've been rearranging my room. The rearranging part of if was covered in two or three hours, but then comes the sorting out and the cleaning. I've been getting rid of all my unimportant highschool stuff, but my floor is still covered in boxes, papers and so forth. Clearly I did the fun parts first like rearranging my book shelves and picture frames, movies and other fun things but as much as I put away or throw away, the pile looks just as big, not to mention all the stuff under my bed...
I've also read a lot over the past weeks. The great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The hunger games trilogy by Suzanne Collins (I believe), which I ABSOLUTLEY LOVED! Diary of a wimpy kid 1 and 2 by Jeff Kinney which were hilarious and I can't wait to read the other ones. Can you keep a secret by Sophia Kinsella, Bossy pants by Tina fey (needles to say, epic and hilarious), Looking for Alaska by the genious known as John Green of whom I have a signed copy of Paper Towns and last but not least, Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone by J.K. Rowling.
Books I've purchased and intend to read are Emma, by Jane Austin, The Scarlet letter by I don't know and I'm too lazy to get up and look, and Wuthering heights by Emma or Charlotte Brönte.
I completley forgot about Dawn French's A tiny bit marvelous, which I also read, which is a funny and good read. So much for books.

I've started filling a small red Moleskine journal with little souvenirs, such as movie tickets, club tickets and small doodles, which is fun. Í always keep tickets to movies and theme parks etc. because I like to find them in my wallet and think back on all the happy (cheesyness alert!) memories and stuff. However, keeping all these is wallet space consuming so now I'll just grab my glue stick and put then in the little red journal.

I could go on and on about all the stuff that happened on my trips but frankly I'm too tired and too lazy to put that all down.

I feel like I don't have much more to write about so I'll just leave it this this. I hope it was sufficient, for those who read this (at the moment none I guess)
Anyhoo,

¡Adios!
