The title says it all. Yep... It's sunday the 27th, and it's the last day of my week-long holliday. I feel kind of bummed because my finals start may 16t so that gives me about two and a half month to prepare. I don't know if I'm ready yet to leave. I know I've been whining these last years about how much I wanted to get out of here but now that it's speeding towards me, it's kind of intimidating. Maybe I'll do a blogpost on my highschool career later, but now, let me list the things I'll miss. (Well, I might not pass my finals but let's just pretend I will.)
-I'll miss arriving at school early in the mornings, and sitting there, letting my body warm up to a day filled with school-related things.
-I'll miss the conversations with my friends during class.
-I'll miss my lunch dates with people who are in either a different year or a different class.
-I'll miss the environment, in which there is somehow always drama.
-I'll miss the teachers (I know right? But I enjoy a lot of classes because of the teachers)
-I'll miss my friends.
-I'll miss my enemies. HAHA No, just kidding, I won't miss them.
-I'll miss the soup machine in the cafeteria, this I am serious about.
-I'll miss stuff like doodling in each others math books.
-I'll miss the thrill of not doing an important homework assignment and not getting caught.
-I'll miss skipping class to go shopping, or to go eat.
-I'll miss the routine.
-I'll miss the thrill of the first day of school.
-I'll miss the thrill of the first day of school.
-I'll miss the thrill of the last day of school.
-I'll miss the report cards.
And most of all, I'll miss being young and carefree.
Oh my god! Did you cry? No? Oh... Neither did I. So this wasn't a really interesting blog post but it sure did give me something to talk about. All the little things you took for granted which will be gone soon. I know I sound like a hallmark card but whatever. I'm sure going to college or something like that will be just as fun. You know when God closes a door, he opens a window? You know how parents always say that highschool is the best time of your life? Well, people who are 20/30 say that the time after highschool is the best time of your life, so it'll be fun. I can feel it! God, this isn't really going anywhere.
So for now I say, ADIOS!
