Let's blog again, like we did last summer

Dear bloggyblog,

It's been a week. I know. I know we can sit here pointing fingers at one another accusing who did what bla bla bla, but let's just move on. Shall we? Good.

So my test week went well. I still have two more tests and then it's done, and oh yeah. My audition is THIS FRIDAY! So yeah, for the rest nothing much has happened. THIS FRIDAY!!!!
So I finished my portfolio. I've decided to do seventeen designs and the three outfits last so that I have my designs and assignment all in one binder. I've taken out a few and replaced them with some more daring designs. The school I'm going to is looking for people who aren't afraid to take risks. Unfortunatley, I'm not the biggest risk-taker.
So to look my very best, I'm going to get my hair cut on thursday, so the lady better not screw up! (The thought of it alone makes my blood start to boil! Grrr!)
But I think I'll be fine and if I don't get accepted, well, I'll be upset but it won't be the end of the world as we now it. That isn't due till 2012, so yeah. There you go.

Today I had a lovley 2 hour long skype conversation with my friend, discussing my test tomorrow, and which things are important (such as Venice being the gateway to the orient throughout the renaissance period) and the things which are less important (like the 5000 page explaination of why the kimono was such a desired object in europe in the nineteenth century. Yeah, we get it. It's exotic and all) So you might have already guessed it but the subject tomorrow is art history, and not just one particular period of time. No. Orientalisme thorughout well, like, for ever! Beginning with Alexander the great and ending, well now. So yeah, that's fun. And thursday I have my Spanish oral exam. Por favor dio, ¡ayudarme!

The rest of the week has gone quite well. Between learning, watching movies from the nineties and doing some creative stuff, I've also gotten around to sending a few cards out to people. Which reminds me! It's almost valentine! Oooh! Exciting! (Well, not really for most of us) But maybe I'll buy myself something nice. Like a diamond! Nothing says 'I love you/myself' more than buying yourself a big ol' diamond! Harry Winston will be getting me something special this year *wink*
