V-DAY!

Hey blog!

First of all, Happy Valentine's day! I'm sitting here with a bowl of noodles (as one is supposed to on a 'single person's' valentine's day. So far, I've had a great day! (I also kind of ditched my last class so that's why I have loads of time to blog ;-). I also didn't have any classes this morning so I baked 2 batches of cookies in yes (I know... gag me with a spoon as my dear cousin and blog follower Lauren would say) a heart shape! I also made little cut out hearts to give to people on this special love-filled day! A lot of people think V-day is only stupid and commercial but I dissagree. It's a day on which you are reminded to make some extra effort to tell the ones you love, that you love 'em. My cookies were delicious and everyody liked them. I also got a super sweet card from one of my best friends. Shes gone all the way with the glitter and the beads. We'll see what the rest of the day brings! ;-)

So I havn't blogged in a while but that's because I was SUPER busy! My test week went well, and I had loads of good grades, but there was one slight bummer. Can you guess? Well, I didn't get accepted at the art school I went to (Which was my second choice but it would've been nice though...) My number one pick has a day in march when visitors are able to walk through the school, pondering wether the school is right for them, or not. Well, I'm going and I'm going to ask them what they're looking for etc. etc. I didn't get accepted to school#2 because they didn't feel that the drawing were strong enough, which I agree with in a way. They did give me lot's of constructive criticism, which is great. They also said I had the talent and potential, which is also a BIG plus because there are so many people who just get rejected without any advise or with the "Maybe this isn't for you" type of blabber. So I'm keepin'it positive & Keepin' it real!

I also had my History project presentation last week which went really well! After that the students and the parents went out to the local bars to celebrate (It's kind of a tradition here, and considering the fact that we've been working on them since spetember or whatever) and I had an awesome time! (A little too awesome maybe...) So the next morning, I made my way to algebra where I sat as a zombie, doing nothing.

Anyway, nothing super exciting hs happened but I hope you'll accept this post as an apology for my non-present-ness the past (almost) 2 weeks.

Happy Valentine's!
X
